A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer to join a leading multinational company based in Helsingborg, Sweden. This is a great chance to work with one of the world’s largest furniture retailers and be a part of their digital transformation journey.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality software for the assigned product or service.
You will be involved in the continuous development of solutions that are utilized in over 20+ countries, as well as the implementation of solutions for new countries. You will work as part of a team that is tasked with creating country-specific APIs for the library to maintain the decoupled architecture.
Salary: 5,600 SEK per day
Contract: 6 Months
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)

Key Functions
- Develop, run, monitor and support software for the assigned product or service.
- Participate in the operational aspects of software, including running and monitoring.
- Ensure that software deliverables meet specified requirements and compliance standards.
- Apply Software Security Directives to your work, maintaining a strong focus on security in the software development process.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
- Strong grasp of webMethods structure and best practices.
- Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.
- Knowledge of GCP security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and networking concepts.
- Experience in agile development practices.
- Experience with migrating solutions from WebMethods to GCP desirable.
