Our client is an international software R&D company delivering cutting edge solutions and multiple software products in the MedTech / MedDevice sector. They are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join them on a permanent basis in a hybrid role in Dublin.
You’ll team up with fellow QA Engineers, guided by the QA Manager, to enhance and implement the company’s QA protocols effectively. Following the SAFe approach, your primary engagement will be with Product Owners and developers within scrum teams, ensuring coherence with objectives and consistent delivery of superior software during sprints.

Workplace: hybrid, 3 days per week onsite their offices in D15.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within scrum teams to ensure successful software delivery.
- Execute thorough testing cycles for release candidates.
- Develop and implement test cases based on business requirements.
- Enhance functional/regression test cases for new features.
- Provide guidance to junior team members.
- Contribute to formulating effective test strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of testing activities on Jira.
- Continuously improve proficiency in product usage and technical writing.
You should have:
- 4+ years of software testing/Quality Assurance experience
- Strong and proven experience in creating test cases and their execution.
- Proven experience in API/BE Testing
- An IT-related qualification
- Experience and full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Proven ability to learn, introduce and improve new and existing test practices and processes.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development.
- Proven documentation skills
- Strong focus on customer experience and product quality
- Experience in automated testing nice to have
- Previous experience in the optical industry or similar nice to have
