We’re hiring a number of Senior Investment Analysts into a high-visibility Portfolio Analytics team inside a pan-European investment business (major activity across Spain / Nordics / CEE). This is a role for someone who enjoys getting close to the numbers, building pragmatic models, and presenting a clear view to decision makers when stakes are high.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead analysis on portfolio investment opportunities / valuations
- Build and improve forecasting + analytical models (incl. ML where it adds real value)
- Turn messy datasets into decision-grade outputs (Python + SQL heavy)
- Present insights to senior stakeholders / investment committees
- Learn from past deals and continually improve the approach (strong “review + iterate” culture)
What tends to work well in this team
- Strong Python for analytics + modelling (pandas / stats / modelling workflows)
- Confident SQL (data extraction, shaping, repeatable pipelines)
- Comfort with time series / simulation work (e.g., Monte Carlo style thinking)
- Experience in risk, valuation, portfolio analytics, treasury/trading analytics, or adjacent quantitative work
- You can explain complex analysis simply (this part matters)
