Recruitment Process
Allen Recruitment works with the majority of IT related multinationals in
Ireland to provide permanent, temporary and contract IT staff. In order to
supply the demands of these companies our reach expands to all corners and
sectors of the IT world and we achieve this through:

A quality database of IT candidates with whom we have a proven relationship.
Allen Recruitment only adds a candidate to our database if we have contacted
them and established that they are a candidate of quality and either based in
Ireland of have concrete plans to come to Ireland. To date we have over 20,000
such candidates on our database.

An innovative candidate network.
Allen Recruitment have developed an innovative candidate network which we use
to find those "hard to find" candidates. We have developed this by leveraging
all our prior IT experience (All our consultants have worked in the IT Industry
prior to joining Allen Recruitment). We also work closely with technology
specific forums, user groups etc to develop links beyond what we would have
personally ourselves.

Extensive internet advertising and searching
Allen Recruitment develops smart advertising, the kind that would make us want
to reply to the add, to attract the right kind of candidates. Volume is not the
basis of our advertising, but finding the right candidate with the technical
and cultural fit for the position we are trying to fill is.

CV Databases
Allen Recruitment uses a number of international and local CV databases to
source candidates.
Once we have located a suitable candidate for a position we then use our prior
IT experience to validate if this candidate is a suitable technical fit based
on the client's specification. We get the consultant who's IT background is
closest to the position we are trying to fill to screen all candidates.
If the candidate is a technical fit, we then try to establish if they are a
cultural fit with the organisation we are working with. All organisations are
different and look for different attributes in the people they hire. Allen
Recruitment uses its prior experience of successfully placing candidates with
the organisation to develop a set of competencies that we feel match what our
client is looking for.
At this point the consultant will put the candidate forward to the Allen
Recruitment Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for the quality
of candidates submitted to their client and reviews each CV and candidate notes
in detail before submitting them. If a candidate does not match up to the
quality the client is looking for, the responsibility stops with the Account
Manager.
The Account Manager is the point of contact for all communications with the
client and the consultant is the point of contact with the candidate. The two
work together to manage the process in a cohesive manner from CV Submission,
Interviews, Offer Stage through to the candidate starting with the client.
